Juicy berries soften into a sweet, compote-like sauce while crunchy granola and pecans give this breakfast a cobbler-inspired finish. It’s a quick trail breakfast that tastes a little like dessert.

NOTES
SUBSTITUTIONS
Gluten-Free: Replace the granola with an equal amount of gluten-free granola.Reflux-Friendly: Replace the mixed berries with 1/2 cup freeze-dried apples.Reduced Sugar: Replace the cane sugar with your preferred sugar substitute, adjusting the amount according to the product's directions and desired sweetness.No-Oil-Container Option: Replace 1 Tbsp coconut oil with 1 Tbsp MCT oil powder. Add the MCT oil powder directly to the dry ingredients during home preparation. This eliminates the need to carry a separate oil container and allows the crumble to be prepared with hot or cold water.
MEAL PREP TIPS
Use Freeze-Dried Fruit: Freeze-dried fruit is preferable to conventionally dehydrated fruit. It rehydrates quickly and helps create the compote-like berry sauce that gives this breakfast its crumble texture.Choosing Granola: Choose a full-fat granola without dried fruit to maximize calorie density and let the berry mixture provide the fruit flavor.
